Rathos is actually a very nice dragon, although a dangerously clumsy one. To his defence it must be said that constantly carrying a torch on your tail and creating a tornado of fire every time you sneeze is a bit hard to control. After a few incidents (if burning Doo’s village can be called an incident), Rathos decided to go live in a desolate magma wasteland, where he doesn’t risk endangering anyone. He is always there for his friends though, and will fight to his last fiery breath for them.
Mid-row magic attacker. Uses his C-strike to draw enemies in and burn them in a hellish fire.
Rathos is a dragon type creature, his red scaly skin and torch lit tail. Rathos also has two lengthy wings giving him the ability to fly.
Powers and Abilities
Rathos is a dangerous attacker, able to lay waste to the entire enemy team. His Sacred Fire and Inferno skill allow him to deal a lot of damage over time, thanks to the Burn he inflicts to his targets. His C-Strike is particularly useful: Firestorm hits the enemies over time, dealing an enormous amount of damage, and pulling them closer together. This last part is extremely useful when combined with minions who deal damage to the enemies close to them, like Zilla or Enkobo. The main risk of using Rathos resides in the fact that he is a mid-row minion, and so relatively close to the enemy.
Once Awakened, Rathos matures into a fully grown dragon, his scaly skin turns dark, his torch lit tail burns brighter and his eye glows red.
Because Rathos is an Attacker, during awakening, Rathos will deal double damage.
Rathos has a wide variety of skills to be used in battle.

When Rathos' gear is activated, he will wear a safety helmet in the style of a samurai armour to battle. This increases his base stats up to 5% - 10%.

Rathos is useful in most of the game modes. His high damage output and his ability to hit the entire enemy team make him a dangerous enemy in every part of the game. Still there is one major drawback to using him, especially in the Arena: a large part of his high damage output is dealt over time and not concentrated in one big burst. This lets the enemy build up their Energy, and counter with a well-placed C-Strike: healers in particular can get their team’s life back up in the middle of Rathos’ attack. Try and avoid teams with Florus or Rosina! Also keep in mind that small continuous damage is extremely efficient against some Outland Bosses, and useless against others.
